Wheel and Tyre Question/Information Thread

Not 100% sure who would do it, never looked into it. It wouldn't be a normal tyre shop though, I think it would be a pretty specialised place to do them though, because it wouldnt be as simple as lining them up and drilling straight through like with rotors. You would need the holes to taper in from the face.

Volk rays TE37

Volk rays TE37
what happened to these wheels?
i thought you could get a set of 17s with tyres from tempe for 700....
now i cant find them anywhere, except on ebay for 1k+
and all over JDM rides.. :#

Volk Rays... if you're looking for the $700 ones you need to search for Vork Ravs. Genuine Volks go for 2k upwards. Shoulda got in quicker, Res just sold a set for cheap.

Mitsubishi lancer ce wheels

Hey guys I am first time poster on this forum and was looking to get some new wheels for my car. I was wondering if anyone knew about any good websites or shops that sell well priced wheels? any help would be greatly appreciated :cool:

Re: Mitsubishi lancer ce wheels

ebay, trading post, tempe tyres
there are heaps of online places to look

make sure they are right PCD for your car etc.

Re: Mitsubishi lancer ce wheels

CE Lancers have a stud pattern of 4x100. Just make sure you get a set that matches.

Re: Mitsubishi lancer ce wheels

What is the offset of the rims for correct fitment (especially when putting 16/17's on from 14")?

Re: Mitsubishi lancer ce wheels

what do u consider "correct fitment" ?
flush, poke, regular?

flush = approx +30
poke = approx +20
regular = approx +40

***does depend on width tho

Re: Mitsubishi lancer ce wheels

Something that does not rub the crap out of the inner guards when turning is a good start :)

Currently looking for something a little bigger then the 14's so thought I would ask (not a hijack)

Re: Mitsubishi lancer ce wheels

17x7 +40 is a very safe bet
its also a common size/offset wheel
