Any mayor modifications required?
Not really. Look threw Matty's g94 thread (red ce coupe) Or follow mine over the next month. Dropping a 94 in mine.
There is a change of wiring and ecu's tho

G15 --> G93 need engine, engine loom, ecu, key reader, keys. Plug n play.
G93 --> G94 need engine, G93 sump, G94 power steering pump & bracket, G94 engine mount, use G93 cam and crank sensors, G94 clutch and fly wheel.
G15 --> G94 all of the above and maybe a few tid bits I missed.

I though you could use the 94 sump? ive been told to get the drivers side motor mount to

The block of the 94 is taller and the sumps have some differences. I beleive matty used a 93 sump to clear his headers. If you're using 94 oem headers Thom, then you should be ok. But you've Matty on board so you'll be sweet. Let me know when this happens too, I'll come if avail

Im hoping i get stock headers from the guy. If not John has a sump i can grab. Will do man. gonna need as many people as i can get :D want this done :3

Use a 4G64 SOHC from a newer nimbus 96kw

http://www.redbook.com.au/cars/research ... x=0&eapi=2

Then throw an evo dohc head on it

You could also use a newer hyundai sonata G4JSY 2.4 DOHC 104kw

http://www.redbook.com.au/cars/research ... x=0&eapi=2

any info on the hyundai head? cam profiles? valve sizes? and those mivec grandis look like normal 69 sohc mivecs too

Yes I think it's a typo. Uses SOHC head.
This is Australia, Mitsubishi never got DOHC until recently :(

Any one knows where to get a 4G92 generation 2 engine with ECU and wiring?

Not widely available in Australia, maybe New Zealand... They get some interesting stuff there.
Maybe the UK, they have heaps there.

I saw early on in this thread that someone put a FTO engine in a lancer ?? is this possible without too much hastle or does everything need to get looked at, just like if you were going to put a 4G63T in ? :S

Not really the most easy swap but reaaaasonably bolt in. Keep reading :)

Oh right, Sounds like I will be considering this. I had originally thought about turbo'ing the 4g93 but im assuming the internals aren't deisgned to have the extra UMPH! haha

You can build a forged block for less then 2K anyway. If you want cams, they will be heaps easier to get then they would be for a 6a . Parts are just heaps easier and cheaper to come buy.

you can safely get up around 170-180kw with stock 93 internals, and trust me thats quick

Oh you serious ? I think I might have to do this, it will be an absolute animal of a streeter ! Considering its weight and gearbox ratio's. They're absolute sleepers ! I will have to do some research myself and look for more name brand parts. Not too sure how some of these ebay items will go or even worthwhile ?? :S

Do you guy's know if it's possible to get the ECU flashed on these engines ? Or should I not even bother and go for aftermarket?

what ebay parts? anything turbo is no. the best way to turbo the g93 is using a t28 garret ball bearing from an s15, i'd have a talk to henry our sponsor as he's done many of these. if you're in nsw he could even do it for you

Yeah I read that the S15 Garret turbo is a good one. Unfortunately I'm from Victoria but I would gladly listen to his advice, so obviously Im going to need a custom made manifold. Does Henry manufacture these? Maybe I could be it off him and get it posted down ?
