Rear options include:
- Any Proton with an engine > 1.6L Calipers
- Any Proton with an engine > 1.6 rotors (256mm)
I believe the 2009 would be a Gen2 Satria which would be a no. Thats when they changed from being similar to CC lancers. Is there a cutoff model year at which Proton rear disc brakes stop being a match up? (Or to put it another way, there's a 2009 Satria at the wreckers, is it worth the drive to go have a look?)
Im gonna go out on a limb here and say the 1" should be fine. Considering it is exactly the same setup ad a stock fto would have. If it doesnt feel sifficient try the next size up. I dont know whatvthat would be though.Hey guys,
I need to replace the brake booster on my car.
It has the twin pot 276mm front brakes, 258mm rear disc conversion and has a 1" brake master cylinder.
What is the best booster to use? Standard Lancer/Mirage would be easiest to source but I am not sure if the pedal will be too stiff and I should use an FTO item?
