What do people think of the forum banner?

Yeah some good ones there Charlotte! Just remember though that you don't need the blue background, just use transparencies in a PNG file format.

Have attached the original file to this post.

The current image is 689px × 150px, so any new banners need to be 150px in height and preferably around the same in terms of width.

I really like the headlight one not that you can make out its a lancer..

Think someone mentioned it before having a small picture of each generation lancer would be cool but might be a bit too much?? could put them where the advanced search is on the top right.

Have the stars / auslancer.com / then pictures or drawings.
 
Anyone that knows their CJs would be able to recognize that head light :p

Can't really replace the search box. The <div> on that side needs to remain smallish so that the layout can expand/shrink to fit on any sized monitor. I know I have a 1920*1080 monitor and it would be fine, but alot of others still dont have massive monitors. Also it wouldn't be good for mobile devices...
 
I do like the idea of a generational group photo.. maybe one from left to right (front of cars and another of the rears) all lined up....

Ryan, I like your logo too much already.. having it dye sublimated onto a coffee mug... want one!?
 
Hmm tempting, only problem is I never drink coffee (upsets my stomach) so it'd never see any use!
 
Charlotte I really like the bottom one with the headlight.

Also Ryan can you move the search bar above the logout link in the empty grey area??
 
Maybe, not too sure, will see what I can do. I was probably going to replace it with a google custom search soon anyway....

members car of the month sounds like a nice idea.

some1 whose good with photoshop could get the winning picture of the members car, chop it n put the auslancer.com banner on it n such.

would be kewl to have lil comps each month
