for all cvt owners i would suggest scraping the idea of getting fast and work on getting quick.
Yes there is a diffrence. fast is speed quick is nimble. Any car can go fast in a straight line with the right amount of money. But you cant make every car handle like its on rails. We have a good platform for autocross. More fun then drag and more respect from racers. you can take a 14k car add 3grand worth of suspension parts and make it handle like a race car. Doesnt matter if its quick on the straight cause you'll get em in the turn when they slow down to let there high horsepower none turning camaro make it threw.
little mini coopers own the autocross courses. Not the s type just plan old mini coopers. They handle like gods. Not even the sports cars are catching their times.
just something to think about before you get all depressed because your car cant go 300mph.
Do some bolt ons and work on making the car rigid and handle
