How's the website running of late for you all?

I was having some issues when modding this morning, it seems to be a database look up error or alike linked to searching

It's an issue with a table, the error showed up last night when I was trying to do a backup and it ran a mysql dump but I thought it mighta just been a false alarm...I'll try repair the table when I get home from work (I need to SSH into the server to do it and run a command).

When Ian broke the internet last night and the server glitched up I suspect its made an issue in the aforementioned table. :p

Database is repaired so shouldn't spit any error outs....

Also rectified the issue with the group view....seems some code the Garage mod did doesn't agree with the core forum code....and that is why I am in no hurry to add a like button mod!!!

Can't fix that since there is no error being generated to point me to a problem...

It's never frozen for me using the latest versions of FireFox....

it freezes for me too every once in a while and im running the latest ffx

if your running a non updated or haven't got the security settings for java set up properly then you chat is going to freeze.

Try Google Chrome. Faster browser, no freezing, can import all your bookmarks/favourites from IE and firefox too

The chat uses AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) to provide the updating functionality. JavaScript is implemented at a browser level and not in the JRE...

But if people are having issues, update your browser to the latest version or try an alternative because like I said it's never frozen up on me.

Well I had john's issue at work, and all I did was allow "java" to run on every page without asking.
