lol! ..maybe could get mod to have a naked chick dancing along the bottom of the browser window :p ...be 1 good way of gettin the 'users online' up :p

I was also thinking of how to get members to come onto the forums - could buy our own adhesive stickers

...like that, and then just print off 10 or so, that way we could do it for ultra low costs and would help A LOT in gettin the word out about auslancer?...just an idea?...id be willin to buy the paper if someone helps with the design? :)

Some cool ideas there. The only problem with printed vinyl stickers is they fade over time,so for that reason I was looking to stick to a cut vinyl decal. I've been thinking into decals and dad's mate down the road is a sign writer and dad said he has a vinyl cutting machine so I'll probably have a chat to him.

As for the font, I was preferring to stick to a unified font with the banner and any future material. So what we are currently using is Sofachrome

If you've got any different fonts to suggest let us know, just keep in mind the font will need to be cut vinyl 'friendly'!
 
hmm i know hardtuned stickers are just cut to a square, dunno if u wanna go down that route? ...and wouldnt be huge problem if they fade over time - only costs like 2$ to print one out lol :) but just givin some ideas

if u wanna go down the road of like laser cut vinyls could clean up the side profile of the car a lot more to make it easier but yeh - thats if u like it lol! :p i just think that gettin stickers on members rides is gonna be the only way to get club members pilin in :) - esp if theyre on hawt cars

Mmmmm they are nice, I like the last one in particular! Maybe we could do both printed aswell as cut vinyl stickers.

I just wish my current department at work had a colour laser printer for doing flyers :lol:

i think i like this one the most mainly caus its got the side morror in it -_- might fix this one up again n make the lines smooth and change the auslancer to the curved one and see what thats like

I just thought, seeing as it's December and Christmas is near, maybe we could have the Christmas spirit incorporated into the banner some way or another. I know it's early days of the site but I just very quickly through this together as a rough idea, it's not very good but just in the Christmassy direction :D



And Carbon Fibre on websites, always looks good haha :D

for the moment missus lancerr its just word of mouth and promoting the club on other sites, Ryan is inviting people he thinks would add something to the club on the numerous car sites he's a part of - while not inviting the idiots. We're currently in the process of getting 'you've been spotted' cards made up so we can distribute thoes to people in major cities to get the word out about the club, it all takes time! :) and we've all been busy with uni, especially recently with exams and all the rest - so now that thatts all over for most of us well finally start the ball rolling with mods to the forum thats been put on Ryan's to-do list after the brain storm we had :), and the youve been spotted cards are in the design stage at the moment - once thats finished and approved theyll be of to the printers :) it's all happening dont you worry! :)

and like all forums, they're slow to start off, but once the members come and the community gets bigger with more topics started and questions bout cars being asked etc, then you start to get the hordes of members coming in :) - dont worry, the club will become big lol and i cant wait for that day when Ryan has to pay big $$ for the server bandwidth usage bill lol :p
 
Yeah we've all been a bit short of time the last month or two with uni and so far it's only been word of mouth...

At the moment we are in the process of organizing Spotted cards and am looking at doing a referral competition early next year.

Still need some time to make some changes to the forum, but with silly season, work and all I haven't had the chance yet, but coming up soon I'll have some spare time from work to do it...

But once we get some members on here and posting up topics, more are sure to follow, with people finding us through Google,etc...

Oh and I've sent you an email about the banner Charlotte...
 
When I work out what sizes we need and then talk to a nearby sign writer about it.

Most likely white will be the standard colour but I can see if he has pink vinyl for you...

Will have to see what the costing of them is going to be and interest from other members too... I fronted up for the cards myself, but cant afford to be fronting up for all the vinyls :lol:
