EOI: AusLancer Merchandise

What design would you like for the coffee mug: (please don't vote if you don't intend to buy one)

Yeah that would be a good idea, but would also prob raise the costs.

The costs are fixed I think, just requires someone to come up with the artwork.

Tryg has shown me a suggestion (incorporating from CE->CJ) and we've worked on it a lil bit, but I'll leave it for him to show it to you!
 
I like the one above, but maybe too simple.. Why pay for expensive dye sublimation (photo quality) for a simple graphic. If we screen printed, then we pay setup fees. That would be a great decal idea, nudge nudge, Ryan!

Looks good.

Change the CE to Erics/Johns (when it's clean)/Ace/Mafias imo. Something clean with the MR kit. The one on their doesn't look all that pretty.

no, these were mostly sourced from an auto trader site... as they have the background-less images...

Changing them will require a lot of work, as per the CE Coupe and they don't come out as clean...

Could we all live with it, or more changes required?

Build it in illustrator, use the a lot of layers = simple to edit.

think it would look good if it was just a front on of all the cars so its all even across the mug
 
Guys, happy for someone to do this for me, but finding the images is not as easy to do as you seem to be suggesting..... If someone wants to take over, please chime in.

Yeah I feel you here... Everyone is fine with saying its not as good as it could be, but when its time to make it better NO one can deliver.
 
i dont know how hard it is to do this computer stuff, all i know is how to use the interwebs

Not knocking all the suggestions though, just admitting that I am no Photoshop guru, nor do I own it!!
 
Oh and ryan the price may be fixed from the manufacturer, but nothing stopping you adding you % on top for the site proffit.
 
Well the point is taken..

Ryan, maybe we need a vote, to either do one of three;

A) Just the wording,
B) The logo as it appears above (without the blue surround), or
C) The logo with the few pics of Lancers below.

Remembering;
A) the wording alone is not the club logo as such.
B) The blue is not part of the picture that was sent to me.
C) I did that mock up with all the cars to appease some of the crowd that thought having a CJ was not entirely representative of the club, as it stands.
 
Done chief. Again yes I think it is important that if people want to suggest ideas for what pictures to include if you want the third option it would be nice if you could provide those images to us with transparent backgrounds in either interlaced PNG or PSD formats....

Already factored into the quoted prices mate. For the record prices are ~$10 for the mugs, anticipating ~$10 for registered postage so about $5/mug to the site costs (or $10/mug for non-premium members)...
