And I had to re-use the existing white caps that sit on the original shifter as the ones supplied were too big! But I also rotated mine around so that in neutral the shifter is pointing straight up rather than angled.

you can adjust the pivot point ball joint for CE's (may differ for other cars)........ but if you do you cannot actually get into 1st or 2nd :roll:
this is due to the stiffness of the shift connection cables. just doesnt work, you can however rotate the ball joint so that the stem kinks in the direction most confortable for you
the weight is fully adjustable you can put it just about anywhere even if there is no dimple to grub into i still sucessfully got it on firmly with no trouble
