From what i understand the Lancer Autos use a constant pump. As long as the motor is running the pump will circulate fluid around, only when a gear is engaged will it pressurise and engage the clutch pack..
You are right about the trans fluid, that's why i used Penrite FS MP3 fluid. It's the closest thing that we will get to the Original SP3 Mitsi fluid. This is the only thing that bothers me about manufacturers, we have universal lubricants that have been around since the beginning of time and they still want to fart ass around with special blends. At the end of the day an Auto trans is merely a combination of Fibres, steal plates, check valves and pressure, not much has really changed.
