hey, this weekend ill prob end up buying a K&N pod or sumting of the sort, wondering wat u guys used for the piping/hosing and where to get it from.

AG pipe, a funnel and clamps from bunnings and some race tape. $30 for the lot, minus the tape as i already had that.

be wary of silicon that becomes too soft when hot... might collapse on itself when trying to draw in breath, if too long.

well i did make it the thread for a reason, to post in these type-o threads

or buy my K&N pod and adaptor and go from there, its only 1000k old

thnx for the help and for linking that page, im very interested in something like this HENS performance setup for 1.8 CE

I dont mind spending a bit for it, but where in Vic can i buy something like this? I looked on the same page looking for somewhere to buy it but couldnt find anything.

that wouldn't work for a 1.8l cause you need your MAF in there somewhere.

if you have a 1.8 youll already have one, and hens sells a cai for the 4g93, just got to look a lil harder

your MAF is the mass air flow sensor. its already attached to your airbox. its the square (maybe circle cant remember on CE's) piece with a plug attached into it before your stock air box. that NEEDS to be attached to your CAI, otherwise your car will blow smoke n puff away n die alot, unless you go get a MAF'less tune... got a spare 1000$?

oh, make sure you DONT break the wires inside of the MAF... there should be 3 running accross it. break one, you gotta buy a new one. they are like 0.5mm in width...

who needs mafs... lol (not me :p)

but yeh be careful with it, and yes hens does sell a 93 intake, costs pretty much the same as the g15 intake from memory
[just checked its the bottom pic on his blog-spot page, cost = not mentioned... but from memory on mlga it was over $200, but its a good setup and bolt on]
