Hey guys,

As some of you may know my car is going in for a respray in a few weeks, and as part of the prep I want to paint the interior of my boot/engine bay black, using rattle cans. Just interested to know if anyone has done it before, and what they did, and the results?

if your gettin a respry why would you use spray cans, it wont last

did you mean do the whole engine bay i asked about it and takes few weeks to do it.
and for the boot are you just prep work for them or doing the spray yourself?

*Edited i sounded like a know it all lol*

It's more expensive to get them resprayed professionally, takes longer in the shop, and I don't really care whether they match or not. I might try to spray it myself with the same paint as the rest of the car if I get around to it.

Its being painted at a place in Beaconsfield called Mark's and Marty's', Mark is painting it. They are friendly guys, and I've been in and out of there a lot over the last month, seeing their work and talking to them about it. I reckon i'll paint it myself.

mate, if you want some good advice, just get the pros to do it at the same time. it might be expensive, but it will be worth it.

if you're already taking it to a shop to spray it, they might as well do the lot. there is a lot less hassle that way.
