DEFECTED HELP PLZ

^ dosnt seem fair really.
u get the people who do up their cars to look n sound nice, just for pure self satisfaction...
then u get the ones who do it to hoon around n annoy everyone... they are the ones who never get in trouble :(

Why waste money on a standard exhaust? Seems so silly.

I offer you a cheap way to get out of it and to get it re-tested.

I dunno why I bother to give others info when they blow it off.

I dont think the EPA allow silencers here in NSW because of the fact they can be so easily removed...

Being sent for an EPA check is alot more involved than simply getting a blueslip to clear a defect and the government checks over the EPA places alot more closely to make sure they aren't doing the dodge...

and i dont want to run the risk of failing the test coz its a 2200 fine and my rego gets cancelled so im getn the standard one then i dnt have to worry

And what put your cannon back on and get caught again?? Ok. Makes sense.

Yeah I totally understand that Ryan. Alot different to qld.

 That's the general go about... My mate just got a flange added to his exhaust and a new cheap quiet muffler when he got defected in order to get cleared..

I've had an EPA that was supposedly coming in the mail threatened by one upset copper (my exhaust is just a magnaflow muffler and not overly loud at all), so that's why I keep my stock muffler tucked away incase I need to get it cleared and to save taking any gambles on whether my exhaust would pass or not...

Chances are once he gets the exhaust cleared, he wont be hassled again, or not for a considerable while atleast (not that I condone switching mufflers ;) )

Rofl cannons are for noobs and high performance cars. Just get a lukey muffler or redback with a glasspack resonator and youll be way under the legal limit funny thing is it will cost the same as a stock exhaust, provided you find a deal. Then you wont sound like a farty ricepoop coming up the road.

i heard my car from outside of it for the first time the other arvo. mate drove it round the block afew times.

sounds different to inside the car tbh. not as loud as i thought it was :) and not fart, sounds like a really flat/deep toned exhaust. different to my old farty/weezy-breather muffler.
