first of all i would like to say that i havent been doing much to my lancer due to the christmas holidays and to be honest just havent had the money or the time to work on it, but i have recently gotten stuck back into it and this was the first thing i fixed up and got working
To connect a GLXI(with tacho) cluster into a vehicle(cc lancer) that has is running a 4G15 carby engine(has no tacho in cluster)
all you have to do is this:
on the GLXI cluster there is a tacho earth and a TM connection, they have screws for some reason(idk why ahaha)
you put a ringlet(with wires connected to them) connection on each screw, the earth can be mounted to any section of the body aslong as its metal , i used a screw hole for the kick panel underneath the fuse box.
the TM connection(signal/power) MUST go to the "white" wire on the distributor
just below the distributor there is a plug(white female connector and a black male connector)
on the male connector(black) there are two wires, one white, one black and white.
for the tacho(GLXI) cluster to work properly, the "TM" wire must go to the "white" wire.
simply just splice into the white wire (before the connector) and thus,
a working GLXI cluster like so: video of working cluster is below:

i will post detailed images showing how it was done at a later stage when i have more free time
