Hey Mate, I did mine the other day, its easy.
You just need to buy
- some intake hose from Autobahn or repco or supercheap, its all pretty much the same (the extendy stuff from 300mm to a meter and about 76mm in size, sells for about 25bucks
- hose clamp to fit the hose above^
- hose clamp/zip ites/ tape/ string/ screws however you plan on supporting the pipe on your front bar. (i havent as its a snug fit between the radiator support, front bar mounts and my front bar)
And you need tools to take your front bar off, your battery and the plastic the battery sits on, and your drivers side inner wheel well.
1. Take off front bar
2. Take out battery and plastic battery support pad thing
3. Take out inner wheel well, make sure to pull out all the little clips including one under the front bar.
4. Turn your wheel full lock to the left
5. Looking in your engine bay you will see where the pipe comes out of the air box, down in front of the wheel then U-bends back up into the engine bay.
6. Remove the U-bend by unbolting the pipe held by the bolt that the battery plastic support was covering.
7. Pull the U bend down and out from under neath the wheel well.
8. Slide the new intake pipe over the protruding pipe from the air box, and slide it up so it overlaps about 3-4 inches.
9. Hose clamp it.
10. Run the pipe to where you want in the front bar!
11. Replace battery, front bar, etc...
Then drive it!
I can go take photos if you want?
