What fuel do you use

bp ultimate only for me... car will probably run on vpower aswell but i live down the road from bp
 
e10 burns hotter and quicker therefore less k's, plus it can also lead to long term engine faults due to the higher burning temp.
 
I use e10 - have done for a good 6 months or so now. Don't really notice much difference apart from that it's cheaper.
 
there are multiple e85 pumps in both Sydney and Brisbane... but not sure its wise to run it if your car is not designed to... might rot everything!

Yeah unless you have a VE II Commonwhore (or another model designed for E85) it would not be wise to run E85!

stupid question but what is E85...

my brother has a VE2 and he rekons he gets better fuel econmy out of E10
 
and e85 is apparently ftmfw coming from the yanks...


but there is like 10 servos aus wide who sell it lol

a mate of mine use to work at a chemical disposal place so they had it by the drum

my dads race car runs on methonol
 
i drive a 1.5 auto and i just always use 98 octane ... sometimes 95 but mainly 98 never e10 just coz im a hater .
im reading you guys getiing like 600km out of a tank wtf i think the most i would get is like 400 is there something wrong with my car?
 
i get 250.. dont worrie


probably because its a 1.5 auto.. foot would have to be wot alot of time to cruise around.

autos are alot more thirsty that manuals

like roy stated, auto's eat more fuel unfortunatly. spesh if u slap ur foot to the floor...

im getting MAYBE 450kms if i have a light foot per tank... other wise its about 300-350.

guna try some 95 today, see how my car likes it :S
