Would love to know more- AWD Magna?

Hello everyone. I saw this car last year while waiting for a kebab….
I was surprised to see an ‘AWD’ badge on the side of this Mitsubishi… It looks like a Magna of some description but I’m not sure… it was a while ago and it couldn’t get a closer look as I was in a rush.
Anyway i would love to know more about this car and the history if anyone knows anything!

Magna has an AWD version, as well as a higher trim version called the Verada. Nothing overly special, it was just a higher trimmed Magna really.

IIRC, they only came in auto's though, but given the cars were essentially the same, you can manual swap a Magna box into a Verada (maybe its backwards?) @Spetz used to/still has a Verada and can chime in

Yes the AWD Magna/Verada are automatics.
Same gearbox as an Evo VII GTA from what I understand.

Manual AWD conversion is pretty difficult though and are exceedingly rare.
 
From what I can remember there was a HANDFUL of manual AWD magna's as I worked on one when I was at a Mitsubishi dealership back in their warranty days. as for anything else I really don't remember the specifics from them but they where pretty good for what they were I guess
