Hey guyz really need your help..
Recently I just changed my brakes, put some Bendix Ultimates in their but today while driving I noticed that one of my wheels were wobbling..
Now I was running on only 3 studs, coz 1 snapped off.. But when I went to take off the wheel, close to all my studs have been stripped and they need replacing..
Can anyone please tell me the best way to replace them properly..?.. And just want to be sure, Do I only take off the brake caliper to remove the rotor out of its place or is their anything else..?

Thanks in advance guyz..

i have always wondered this aswell

my only guess is a new hub? (new as in from wreckers or watevs)

once you take off the rotor (by removing caliper) you will need to open/remove the hub aswell as the studs are locked in there.

I think MOR31 has done this maybe.

I guess you didn't tighten your wheels enough.....

Alright afta some studying, I replaced all my stripped studs with brand new ones..
And no U do not have to replace your hub..
These are the steps I followed..
1. Jack car up and take off wheel obviously..
2. Unbolt the 2 bolts behind the caliper to remove it from the rotor..
3. Lay the caliper onto the driveshaft (becareful with the brakelines not to disconnect them) and pull out the rotor from the hub (I sprayd some WD-40 onto mine to make it easier)..
4. Once the calipers off, studs can be hammered out from the front to pop it out from the bak, agen spray some WD-40 to loosen the studs..
5. Slide new studs in and and tighten with a bolt until the stud is in place..
6. Have a cold beer and enjoy a job well done :D lol..

I pretty much followed all that and was pretty happy how it came out..
Soon ill be making a DIY on how to replace them with picz and dat, step by step..
