Sedan/wagon struts/shocks the same?

Can someone please confirm that sedan and wagon front/rear shocks/struts are the same?
Thinking about coilovers but can’t see any advertised for wagons.
cheers

They’re identical from what i’ve seen, hardware should be the same. Even factory suspension should be a direct swap from sedan to wagons

Cheers man
The coilovers arrived today. Cheapies from max peeding rods
Fingers crossed
I know they will most likely be rough as guts, I’m just after firmer handling and even height.
Handles like a pig even with new kyb vrx front shocks and new kyb rears.
Santa Claus said I have to wait til xmas
Then I have to find a wheel alignment guy with half a brain to do the alignment

Not sure how the fitment is with the wagons but I used to have some maxpeedingrods and they rode higher then stock even at max depth. I advise caution with them cheapies

Oh no, fingers crossed they sit lower but if they don’t I only spent $500, guess that’s the risk with cheap and nasty parts
At least they are really easy to remove and install. Once I get them fitted I’ll update if it was a bad idea.

Just had a look at the coilovers. Seems to be minimum adjustment in the rears around an inch and just over 3 inches in the front.
Sits an inch higher in the rear roughly so if these aren’t shorter in length on the highest setting compared to stock they aren’t going to work. I’ll try the rears first and if it isn’t lower I won’t waste my time doing the fronts. I wanted around two inches lower in the rear and an inch in the front.
If I wasn’t so hungover I’d do it today
Big pita removing the rear trim panels to get to the top shock bolts in the wagon and my brain is at about30% functioning today…
Coilovers look to be pretty decent and the thought of them being useless makes me feel sad.

Just found an old thread on here with a pic comparing the factory rear strut with the maxpeeding rods and it looks longer than the factory strut!
Doing a few measurements on this rear coilover, specs say it has around 40mm height adjustment although there is only 30mm of thread in the bottom adjuster/mount and the instruction manual states that you need at least 25-30mm thread engagement on the lower mount for safety reasons,so in reality it has a max of 5 mm height adjustment,no wonder it sits higher than stock. In the process of doing a return on ebay :)
Id say a decent set of coilovers must have at least 2-3 inches height adjustment, surely.
i guess looks arent everything lol

If you end up still searching for options, I found the BC golds to be rather good for rear drop. Definitely wasn't taller than stock when I fitted mine on the sedan. They're very stiff out of the box though, so you may end up wanting softer springs from BC.
