fitting an evo steering wheel ?

You shouldn't have too many problems, just make sure you correctly connect the airbag. Evo wheels can be quite expensive though!

it all looks good except the cruise control switch on my original steering wheel. not shore if leaving this unplugged will cause an engine code.

you can rellocate the cruise control to another area - but the evo 9 is I think the one that fits the best - I cant remeber why now :/

haha good timing haha its all good i will fit it up when i get a day off work.
not shore where or how to relocate the cruise control as it is mounted in the steering wheel but i haven't looked at it either.

I currently have Evo 7-8 (with silver aluminium parts) steering wheel on my Lancer. It came stock on mine, because it is EU Sportswagon. EU Sportswagon has 100% same interior with Evo except seats, center console (it's the same except the Evolution sticker), gauge cluster (white background and no AYC LED's) and pedals.

Considering this, it should be a direct bolt-on. If you want some detailed photos or any help, don't hesitate to ask.

Don't have cruise. I wouldn't even want one if you ask me :D

I have this model:

Came stock on Evo7/8 and CS Lancer Sport versions, at least in EU. Facelift CS models have the Evo 9 version with the aluminium parts anodized black.

I have never seen one with cruise attachment (if you don't count those that have been installed after it has left from manufacturer). There are some cruise manufacturers that make pretty OEM looking attachments to steering wheels.
