Roll center/bump steer correction kits

Can anyone confirm if the whiteline bump steer correction kit (KCA395) for CT9A evos, can fit onto CH/CG lancer control arms

I’m aware that the tie rods ends will work, but i’m not sure about the ball joints. Wanted to get one of these bump steer correction kits to get some better steering feedback and to fix up the steering a little in my CH lancer

Any feedback or tips is appreciated :)

its me again!

The ball joints are no go sadly. The std ball joints in a ch lancer are are not able to be pressed out AND they are a different diameter. It’s close but not the same.

The tie rods are also no go for standard steering rack. The outers bolt into the hub BUT the inner tie rod on an evo is thicker.

You can install an evo steering rack and use the roll centre tie rods - have this setup in my car. It has lasted well but after a decent track session I cooked the outer tie rods.

I will be installing the rack lift kit, which will have the same effect for less $$ and less stress on the outer tie rods. Link

Still need a fix for the ball joint, maybe you’d like to cut open some arms?

Hey thanks for the info, damn shame the ball joints won’t work. I’m assuming the outer tie rods would fit, mainly because i’ve bought outer tie rods for an evo before and they fit, but would benefit from just those on the standard CH steering rack?

Oh mad if evo outer tie rods work, then my early CH mustve had a different rack with thinner inner tie rods.

It doesnt fix all the bump steer problems, but if certainly helps.

The rack lift kit will do the same thing. Despite it being listed for an evo only, it will work on a CH.

Also an evo steering rack is a good mod, really reduces the amount of turns lock to lock. Does slightly increase the steering weight.
