Lowering..

lowered it on superlows at the front and if i did lower the back i'd put it on lows, cost me nothing coz i traded for the springs
your average springs cost ~$250, then u need someone who has spring compressors and knows what they are doing, so +install

better alternative is if u have the $$$ get coilovers, which are adjustable in spring rate, height and camber i believe, most people recomend BC red coilovers, for street going vehicles, they are very good
BC reds cost ~$1200 but are worth every cent of it

i was unde rthe influence that if you can adjust the car below legal hieght whether its while driving or when stop ,it made them illegal

but then springs that you put in under the limit like your would be ileagal too

Na cause the car isn't too low, its the kit that takes it under the legal hieght

the kit is attached too the body & if its lower then 100mm its illegal like mine for instance car is 100mm off the ground but the cat converter/extra muffler is 80mm & therefore that is the lowest point of the car so its illegal

i know that, i was stating that the springs aren't illegal cause they don't take a standard car too low, but the kit is.

not sure what the lowest piont of mine is, micheal yours would be illeagal with out the kit

na cause the lowest point without the kit is the tow hook on the front and it 102mm.. lol just in

i have King Springs.

i run low fronts and superlow rears, to keep the car flat...as all newer cars have a raised rear. Cost $270, fitted myself in 4 hours. Additionally requires a wheel alignment $50.

Pedders can sell you coilovers, they are not illegal in QLD, as long as you run them so the lowest point of your vehicle remains at the 100mm mark....
