Mine bounced off limiter no problems as a manual. Didn't have fuel cutoff like in the cj just bounced.

mines the 07 edition so would it have the same sort of cut off as the CJ? and is your the LE ES?

indeed, might be worth having it looked at, might be nothing, might be something not good.

yea, i rarely hit my limiter as most of the time i am stationary in traffic between home and work that and economy is gooooood

I doubt it was changed, and ideally one doesn't hit limiter anyway, if you do, fuel cut off or ignition it doesn't matter as it's already a mistake lol
