Hey everyone been a watcher of the forum for sometime and only posted for the first time last night. Love the banter I see every now and then between everyone.
Live in the Sydney area around Castle Hill and work on a motorway in the South-West of Sydney (So don't crash otherwise I will be posting your car wreck)
So this is what I've got and whats been done so far.
2005 My06 CH ES Lancer 4G69 dark blue metallic, bought in 2014 for $4200 with 82,000k from dealer.
Engine Stuff
AEM Short Ram Intake
Full exhaust system done by Castle Hills Exhaust (no farts)
Suspension and stopping
Replaced all shocks with KYB's and Kings lower spring
Whiteline Rear sway bar and anti-roll kit
DBA T2's on the front and Golds on the Rear with bendix pads which are due for a change.
Wheels
Set of Silver ROH wheels 17'' with Falken tyres wrapped around them.
Interior
Typical stereo change with speakers done all around amp and sub etc.
Driver Seat is currently one from autobarn I had laying around.
Evo 7 Shift Console with Carbon Fiber Shift knob.
Burg Design Leather wheel, somewhat fitted properly yesterday
Exterior
VRX Headlight Swap
LED headlights (no they don't blind people)
Phillips Led Parkers
The Pros
Fairly good punchy thing to drive around.
Crackle from the exhaust doesn't get old.
Doesn't get a second look by the cops.
Feeling when the MIVEC kicks in
Economical as anything when my foot isn't to the floor.
The Cons
As with most the top coat is peeling off the roof and some on the bonnet
Front right headlight has its own climate going on inside of it
Shifting feel need improving, possibly just a bushing upgrade don't want short shifter as of yet.
Things looking to do
Projector headlights, want something clean and simple but $$$
Front lip, can't decide between an acutal lower front one or the ebay strip option.
WHEELS!!! Want to have something like TE37's or that style but again $$$ and the 4x114.3 pattern.
