Possibly joining this might help me stay on task as I have many unfinished projects. I have driven a Lancers for 20 years now, before that I was driving Toranas. (LJ and HB's)
Currently have a mostly stock CE lancer, the 4g93. Not too much happening with this at moment, though I do have some plans. Has BC golds and exhaust upgraded, indecisive about this one, which direction I want to go with this car, it has been resprayed red again so it looks better than my first lancer I had which I drove out brand new from Preston Motors Mitsubishi. (Unfortunate demise of my first lancer, was far too young and stupid wrote this one off early 2000s).
A few years ago bought a Mirage which had been engine swapped with the 4g93 and turbocharged, was going to use it for parts, however decided it was too good to part out, it had been tracked before. Handling steering wise it is not as good as my red lancer and syncro on 2nd is gone, rev match everything so it is fine however other people can't seem to grab second. I managed to get this one engineered but it is not a process I would do again. Emission compliance was the hardest thing to comply with. Slowly been fixing up the paint work on this one, would love to spray it properly like my red one in two pack, however work and time and money is a factor. Have been doing one panel at time.
Last lancer is an Evo, so this one is a 6.5, it has had some stupid things done to it, I so wish it was unadulterated. It also has electrical gremlins!! Had a check engine light for the O2 sensor, just swapped out the O2 sensor, don't know if it was bad fuel or on its way out anyway. Smell so much less fuel now and fluctuating idle seems to have resolved itself. Might have been on its way out for a while. Well that's my introduction.
