Short shifter + Shift knob

Hey guys,
I just bought a Tomei shift knob for my car tonight with the intention to chuck a short shifter in sooner or later. I was having a look at this short shifter on eBay, and had a question about it. I've had a look on a few forums, and I'm just looking for someone who might have got their hands on this short shifter or something similar for their lancer. Is the thread diameter and pitch the same as a stock lancer (M10 1.25mm pitch I believe) , and if it is, which diameter and pitch is it (because the stock shift column has two different thread sizes on it). I just want to be sure that this shift knob will match up with the short shifter that I'm looking at.

Hey mate, I have a similar short shifter setup, and have run a blox weighted shift knob of the same thread pitch in the past. Should be no issue fitting it up to your short shifter as this thread pitch is very common across Japanese cars, I used mine on the skyline for a time and it also fit.

Looking at the photo on the ad, it actually says 10x1.25 now that I have my glasses on lmao.

Damn I really just didn't read the ad did I . . . that is a bit embarrasing. Thanks for pointing it out mate
