Location of fog light switch (VRX)

Which round surround are youvreffering to? The switch housing is the standard plate modified.. And the panel that houses the light in the bumper is part of the kit but be careful when buying, there are two different panels to suit different bumpers

sorry to resurrect an old thread, does fog light install HAVE to involve taking off the bumper? or can it be done with the bumper on?

It's a lot easier with it off.
 
Yea I'm bumping this because I'm still confused as fuark. Might pick up a set soon and wondering if I'll need to cut any wores or anything? Or does it all just plug in? Shanx guys.
 
Mostly just plug and play.
If you can, try to get genuine Mitsu fog light switch cause its only one that will show the fog light illumination on the cluster saying it is on/off AND it works with the parkers ON only - turn parkers OFF, fog light turns off automatically.
 
Alright. Better question. Would my ES have a wiring loom somewhere near where the vrx has it's foglights? Or do I need to try find it? I found a wrecked vrx who hasd the eom panel with the switch in it! Just waiting on him now :)

Yes! It's located near the front bumper somewhere. Same story with the switch - connector loom is behind the power mirror controls.

All plug and play :)
 
Niceeee, got a foglight kit here for sale in adelaide. Guys got it up for $100, might offer him $75 and see if he bites :ninja:
 
aha good luck man. Just make sure its the one for 05-07 not pre-05 cause the brackets are different.
 
Sorry to bump an old thread, with the oem plugs where the foglights themselves go, is there one on each side for each foggy or is it just one on one side?

Should be one on each side, check just under behind your front bar there should be wiring in conduit which has your foglight wiring in and should go right across behind your front bar to both foggies
