Heavy duty/uprated shocks - best option today?

Hi guys
Installed a set of Pedders lowered springs into the Mirage a while back - I knew I'd eventually want to add shocks to suit, and the time has come. The original shocks don't control the lower/stiffer springs well at all.

What's the best bet? It's just a street car, and I don't want coilovers.
 
If Pedders sell an own-brand shock to match, id go with that. There are Monroe/KYB/Bilsteins heavy duty/lowered shocks which should pair up well to the lower springs anyway, and if Pedders offer the shock, id bet that it would be the original pairing of the spring+shock anyway
 
Before coilovers were so commonly available, KYB AGX were always the go to. They offer dampener adjustment too. Not sure if they’re still made for lancers but worth some investigation
