Feedback and Suggestions

I wasn't the one that implemented it anyway.
Yet it's an issue that still needs to be resolved in some way, the issue isn't up for discussion.

Maybe not jump to conclusions next time?
 
just a thought but it might prevent people from posting for sale threads without meeting the criteria, but set it up so each thread has to be "approved" by a moderator before they appear. will solve all problems. that will also ensure the thread is presented in the correct manner i.e. prices, pics, format etc... this is used in many other audio/car based forums and it works very well, i'm not a programmer so i don't claim to have the knowledge to set it up but I know it can be done.

Ryan & Tron are the only ones able to implement such a thing, & i am also unsure if our current web host/board supports a validation feature like that.

In addition, imagine if a user needed a quick sale (It has happened), and no mod is available for a couple hours.
Its a bit more work for us mods, and it swings the ball our way meaning if we dont like certain users, we can deny their for sale threads. It would also remove a bit of you guys freedom in the sense you can post anything you want to sell here (providing its within reason(think: illegal items) & that you meet the rules).

Thats just my $0.02 on the matter though.
 
There is an approval option, but I believe it means every single post in the section needs approving. Not just the start of each new thread.
 
way to much work for mods, can't you just restrict posting new topics in certain forums until criteria is meet
 
Hey mods I'm not sure if what I'm suggesting is possible but I ONLY use the tapatalk app on iPhone and I would love to be able to suggest one change.

So from any thread you can click on a users display picture to bring up there profile which tells you a little a out them and shows what topics there most active in which is great but I want to be able to click on the topic there most active in (usually there rides build thread) and be taken straight to that page. Currently it's not possible to select any of the topics =[

But that aside I love the forum and I'm completely addicted to it. Haha

We can't do anything about Tapatalk functionality, its an external application that we dont have any control over, other than providing its plugin on our server.
 
i often browse the forum on my ipad just using the safari app (i am right now lol), and over the last 2-3 weeks it has been reaally annoying as i keep being rediredcted to the app store to the clash of clans app. i happens mostly on the main forum page but i think it has happened elsewhere within threads too but i will try confirm this.
maybe its something to do with the new adds that have been added up the top?

Is that what causing it? Ive been getting a pop up every maybe couple of days for the last maybe week or two.
Mines on an android tab which I use 99% of the time.
One pop up will say speedup my tab or ive got a virus. Its always when iam on the forum (usually have 4 tabs going on average on chrome at once) but only happens when I refresh the forum page.
Farrkk ive been trying to clean my tab the last few days thinking ive got a problem, was about to do all full reset to get rid of it because no matter how much I tried I couldnt find *poo*.

I added the extra top ad during the week but if its been happening for over a week then that can't be the source. Must be coming from the leaderboard ad down the bottom. I am not sure I can stop it from happening until Google clamp down on the network that is causing it.
 
is it possible to get a "new posts" section, its available on some forums i've seen , its pretty much exactly the same as the "recent posts" section on the forum front page except with more threads

already there :) just above the recent posts sections are a few filters
 
Don't know how much work it would be and whether or not it has already been suggested but could the Members Ride section be split up into separate sub-forums so for example:

Members Rides
> CA, CC
> CE + Mirage
> CG, CH
> CJ
> Evo's
> Non-Mitsu

I would love this to happen. I've always thought that's how it should be =]
 
580 threads, and they have to be moved one-by-one :/

Up to Ryan and Tron, but expect it to take a few days
 
Shame that there isn't a way to allow normal users to move their threads. Even just for like a day or so, to lighten the load
