Does anyone no where this bolt goes has me stumped

Where did you find it?
I found a lego man (now a skeleton) near my ECU today, no idea what he was fixing when he got trapped
 
Well my mate helped pull engine down and I label an have everything in order well he doest lol
We did timing belt water pump an replaced starter,alternator, radiator an couple sensors
I've been through Gregory's an my other intense manual I have online can't find pic of it anywhere

I reckon he may have been trying to Re map the ecu from what you say about him deffinate been stuck in cyber ecu map space for some while now..
 
I've had - over the years, miscellaneous things end up in the engine bay, stray bolts, nuts, washers etc. My sons Evo had a large washer end up on top of his gearbox/transmission housing. Certainly not an OEM part.
Just hang onto it, it may be useful one day :)
 
Again it looks very familiar but I’m unsure where it lives. I’d guess around the power steering lines/rack or even column.

i’ll have a look at my car soon. I’m away from it for the rest of the week
 
Ok no worries appreciate that I finally found a timing cover but it's coming from Perth so car still be apart for another near week ide say with covid post lol
