Ce gauge cluster issue with tacho

Searched as best I can but still having an issue with my cluster. It's got a tacho but not moving ? I have traced the tach signal and earth on the back of the cluster and no clear issues there. Was wondering if there was a way to jump the connectors on the back of the cluster? Fairly new to wiring so any hints with pictures would help.

Hey mate, I take it your car already had a tacho in it or do you have a model that you have retrofitted? Sadly, Mitsubushi really dropped the ball when it came to this generation of clusters, I have been through three already. Been quoted nearly $350 to get it fixed, so it sadly made more sense to buy another cluster, and swap the K's over. A while ago, a friend and I traced a slight break with a magnifying class (was very hard to see), used solder and tape, worked for a while but ultimately failed.
