just making this a blanket announcment. (i know i have spoken to a few of you but just so everyone else knows)

i know the last week we have had a few memebers who have been less than propper making us all a bit grumpy.
i understand, those few deserved a right warning and one a banning. HOWEVER today we have had a bit of an over reaction to a noobie in the ebay thread.
he didnt really deserve it, 1st offence and being new.

i think we are all just still a bit on edge grumpy from the last couple of bad eggs.

SO.
just a reminder of how to deal with these a members first breaking of the rules/rudeness
1) chillax, remeber that they may not be aware of what they have done wrong
2) remind them of the rules politly & let them know an alternative (eg: for sale suggest they put it on gumtree ebay)
3) report the post if you believe it needs checking over by a mod/admin
4) then relax knowing it is dealt with in a propper good gentlemans manner ;)

remeber if somone is getting under your skin, report it
mods/admins will take the appropriate action without everyone getting all worked up

was waiting for this. i think ive seen abit too much targeting and unneccessary comments over the last fortnight.
we all like a joke and sometimes making a call against each other, but take it easy on the new guys who cant tell our banter apart from an insult

Been saying this for ages, yay for an official announcement!

Well said Res.
Far too often the initial reaction of people here is hostile, which does nothing but damage to the club.

agreed. Everyone does need to relax, some of the forums remind me of youtube comments where I can tell people are getting annoyed/angry over what is pretty much nothing. Its the internet people, for someone to respect your opinion, you must remember you have to respect theirs.

Just thought id leave this here:

This is the thread that just keeps on giving.
There was a time before political correctness and the nanny state we all now live in general it wasn't that long ago so I'm sure we all still remember it.
People need to harden up a bit in general tbh , running off having a sook cause someone doesn't like ya neons, ya mum , ya haircut etc is what ya do in pre school.
If someone wants to carry on like a DH on the forum or anywhere else for that matter tell them you think there acting like a clown and move on all there going to achieve is a name for them selves anyways so who cares.
If they've really gone overboard I'm sure plenty of people will let them know also.
This is why people end up topping selves because they got called fat a few times, the whole world has turned into a pack of soft *wally*s, there's prob people out there seeing a shrink twice a week because 2 years ago there was only 5 nuggets in there 6 pack of mcnuggets .
If you can't handle some ding dong ya don't even know on the internet saying , "oh i don't like that" or " that's *poo* " etc then good luck in the real world.
Some people ( no need to cry iam not naming anyone) need to get a grip .
Just my 2c

One time I ordered a happy meal with an extra cheeseburger. Drove away to eat. No 2nd cheeseburger.

I said '*fudge*' and carried on with my meal and let it slide.

if some one call you fat get fit and buff and kick their ass as for knobs on forums im sure it doesnt phase most ppl they just would preffer people that are on here purely to give done up lancer drivers a hard time piss off its not a matter about crying to moderators saying "oh such and such said they would preffer pink neons"   its about people being *wallys* purely because they know there just bullys like dude saying that on another forum Auslancer people are a laughing stock... dude pointless member who contributes nothing but either vaige or negative comments that have no place on auslancer there is i differance between saying im not a huge fan of your body kit and have, have you ever thought of putting a 4g93 in your car... compared to your bodykit is *poo* your car gay, slow peice of shizzle

Sigh... sxaddict can you PM me the name of said person? I'd like to know (They're not getting banned).

@Mark, and everyone else for that matter:

I understand where you are all coming from, yes some people need to take a teaspoon of cement and harden up. Though a thing you need to realise is where a lot of you "older" more mature guys get tired of people winging etc, whinging and crying to The admins/mods is a generational mind set that isn't going to change any time soon.

For me it's like: "What do I do?" I can't ban everyone who voices their opinion and someone cries, but at the same time sometimes opinions turn into personal attacks against other users, directly or indirectly. And then if I don't ban, discipline, talk to, the said person voicing their opinion the person crying f***s off. This causes issues, the last thing we want is loss of members because of other members attitude, and this is where clubs get bad reps, for being full of tossers and "laughing stocks".

I try to moderator and that in the sense that people are allowed to voice their opinion, you're entitled to it, though personal attacks, slagging someones build, anything that could be taken offensive, is a no-no.
It's the type of image I feel will bring AusLancer the most success, no afraid to speak our mind, but is still a friendly and welcoming place. This thread was the whole point of it, because this is our busiest period, with a lot of new people joining. Yes I understand a lot of you don't want more members and that you get tired of answering the same questions constantly but if you're going to mouth off at newbies then you're not a valuable part of the forum and a newbie is worth twice of you.

Tolerance is key, FROM BOTH PARTIES, don't have someone nice or constructive to add to a convo? Shut up and go troll BoostLosing instead of here.
