SOS - KNOB REMOVAL

image.jpgHey guys I need help ASAP PLEASE. How on earth do I remove this shift knob. It doesn’t twist at all nor does it pull off and can’t find any tutorials.

Please help
 
Twist it to the left. Probably need to re-install it or pop it in a vice.

If its too tight, use a vicegrip with a rag to protect the knob
 
If you find that the knob is twisting but not undoing the threads are probably all messed up. Happened to me when I first took off the knob on my CE and an angle grinder was required. Good enough reason to move over to a cheap short shifter and throw what's currently in your hand at a vaping kid or something

Yeahh that’s exactly what happened. A classic 10 minute job turned into 3 hours. Grinder came out the vaping kid is bruised up
