Hey all,

Names Scotty, always loved Lanceys. So, my wheels... well it's no Evo, but I recently bought a 2003 ES CG 5 speed for a bargain. Only has 150,000 on the clock and has Evo seats front and rear, full body kit with adjustable rear wing, floodlights, 17" rims with fat little 205/40 rubber bands on em and a wicked exhaust that has a killer tone to it.

Body and paint needs work, engine is stock as far as I know, but I thought it was a good project car since it had a bit extra already. I'm learning as I go. Lots.

So as a music producer, I obviously started with the stezza. Bang for buck is the keyword, so it boasts a Sony Xplode HU, 6.5" in the doors, 6x9s in the parcel shelf, 12" Sub in the boot. Sony 4 ch 380w RMS amp for the speakers, Pioneer 200w RMS amp for the sub.

I signed up here as I want to get the body nice, maybe get a bit more performance out of it, so there seemed to be lots of shared knowledge here. I'll enjoy it for a while and when its a bit nicer probably sell it and get a real Evo.

Thanks for reading :)

Welcome.

To get you started you have a 2.0L 4g94 engine. Supporting mods would be CAI, a stage 1 cam and coilovers (or springs/shocks). Probs bigger brakes with braided lines too. Those would make the car feel twice as fast.

Hey thanks mate, appreciate the kick-start. The old 4G94 is being a bit of a *mum* at the moment, spent most of today (It's almost 5pm in Perth, and still 39°) wrestling with a replacement cam sensor. But that's a whole new topic in the tech section I'll have a rant about later (after searching first of course) (and another four beers) (straya)

If you need a hand with anything mate let me know. Im perth based as well and a mechanic by trade. I live down in Baldivis btw
