Was 1 of the best days at wsid I have had, 1st testing the car after the awd conversion, raced with my brother's car and other mates, had around 10/11 runs in total and drove home, it was perfect

Forgot my go pro so no footage, but took the galant down the strip last night for a little bit of fun... Was aiming for a 14.5 got a 14.226 best!, *poo* tyres, *poo* suspension, and a centre diff who isn't happy and a sever amount of boost drop off up high. Even before tune I reckon it'd be a 13second car with the simple stuff done.
Lancer: '96 PFL Galant VR4 :shifty:
Engine: 6A13TT
Mods: Still finding out, though rough tune, timing adjustment, largeish front mount
Rims/Tyres: 17x9+30 with Toyo TEO 235/45/17
Power: Estimated to be around 150-180kw from chats with previous tuner
Fuel: Shell 98 (so 96RON), FULL TANK
1/4 Mile: 14.226 @ 95.33MPH (~153km/h)

Additional info: This was with full street trim, *poo* in the boot and my uni stuff. Was purely to see what it ran just for some fun, was a quiet night at the Mplex with a track in good condition from having 4 days of Group 2 and 1 racing on it.

This was the old old ecu. Had no boost in 3rd until about 5k then it hauled again.
Rubbish plastic tyres didn't help and oh the tramp.
All the issues have been sorted now so need to get back out there once it's driving again

Yeah I had really *poo*ty tyres on. But thanx for the advice I was really hoping to get it into the 15s but need more grip :/

Lower your front tyre pressures a bit. And get a proper intake, and run E10

get any vids dude? i remember my first time i was getting 16.7's so dw a 16.2 is very solid
