Official too lazy to search, noob friendly thread.

From what I've heard before, its because the power steering aid is trying to turn the wheel further then it can go, and hence its being strained.
Apparently it's not good/you're not meant to full lock on PS cars, and there is like a point where its full lock but not FULL full lock if you know what I mean.

Ahh that seems logical, Although hers was doing it not on full full but starts anywhere around 60-70% full.

let's try that again..

Not anyone on here! You might remember Myles (NAlancer), he is playing with some atm. To run them you need to be able to tune, usually a full standalone system is required. I've heard that ITBs can cost as much as a basic turbo system to get running properly.

But. Do ettt hahah

Im trying to find VRX wheels for a new lancer

Proving a hard task.

Also anyone use ebay 8000k hb4 headlights?

HIDs are illegal if not OEM fitted but if you want to do them aftermarket you should get new headlight housings with projector lenses or do a DIY conversion. That said 8000K is a stupid temperature of light output to run, 4300K is what OEM HIDs are and will produce a nice clean white light.

I made set of 50 mm quad TBs for my 2.6 astron sigma track car although they have not been used as yet , the main reason for building them was it was cheaper than getting bigger Webers
the 45 mm units are to small and running out of breath over 6000 rpm the cost of 50 mm or 55 mm webers was out of my price range
as for tuning yes you would need an aftermarket computor - its realy hard to get a good map signal so is not the best way to go the Maf is not used so load points are taken from the TPS
its not realy any harder to set up than any other after market computor
of cause you get the advantage of tuning the lenth of the inlet runner this does pick up a bit of performance by being able to time the pulse inside the runner
by the way this works better if you dont run aircleaners - another note they arn't going to be to street legal

cheater

Does anyone know what the inside diameter of a hubcentric ring for the wheels need to be on a CE? Thanks guys.

Has anyone seen a bootlid similar to this/has any info on them? would be greatly appreciated :)

no its almost like a mix between the ce and ce2 from what i can tell, same as a ce2 but without the kinked top part

They have the series 2 boot unkinked in the US, didnt have those in aus.
It looks ugly imo.

There's a better pic of one. Yea true it's good to be different. Actually I'd probably rather one like that since it's different haha.
