Heyy guys/gals, names Sam and I am actually a returning member but I could not remember old account details as it has been that long (probably 6-7 years), so meh just made a new one

I am Qualified Mechanic/licensed Vehicle tester from Narre Warren, Melbourne VIC, with my work based in Dandenong South VIC. I spend alot of time in the 4X4/Camping world with my other Vehicle being a Nissan Patrol, although recently she has acquired a burnt valve and is running like a sack of S***..
My old car back in the day when i joined AusLancer, was a 2000 Ce coupe, Manual, 1.5. Loved the car, was like driving a little go kart despite the lack of balls from the g15. Back then i wanted to do the g93 conversion pretty bad until some knob slammed into the car, caving in the passenger rear quarter, i had then lost all interest in the car. Have since then been through Turbo falcons, to built LS's (as well as an XR5 turbo somewhere in there) but i always seem to go back to the 4x4 world as i love the remote camping life. :tonguewink:

Since the 4by is down for a little while till I find the time and energy to get the head off it, and have it all re-done, i decided to look for a cheap run around car and came across a 99 CE Sedan in Dark Green for $600, noticed it was a 4g93 and had to have it :tearsofjoy:. Mechanically runs beautifully, have already fixed the oil leaks it had and cleaned the engine bay right up, serviced it, replaced front speakers as they were cactus, replaced both steering rack ends as they had madddd play in them.
Now I originally bought this as a cheap run around but have already become attatched haha, so i have decided to clean her up abit as it's very VERY rough around the body, so I will be chasing some panels for it, before jumping into things like wheels and performance mods, exhausts etc...
With the way I am, the car will be unrecognizable from what it was to when I'm 'done' with it. Later on down the track when things have progressed a bit, I will post some before and after pics

Anyway! Good to be back, looking forward to meeting and speaking with some of you, Cheers, Sam.
