K&N Engineering designed free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube air intake systems, 69-6543TR and 69-6543TP, for the 2003 and 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution models with a 2.0L engine. K&N’s testing shows a 14.4 horsepower gain @ 5200 RPM. The 69-6543TR has a red powder coated intake tube, (shown on the left), and the 69-6543TP has a sleek polished aluminum tube.
2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer owners with a 2.0L engine gain 4.6 HP @ 4490 RPM with the 69-6540TP or 69-6540TB. The 69-6540TP smooth's and straitens air flow with a polished aluminum intake tube. The 69-6540TB performs with a blue powder coated intake tube.
