Soo the cooler months are getting near so I think it's about time to kick off the hoodies discussion again. I have had numerous ask for hoodies since the last order, so I hope that there will be enough interest.

Last year the pricing was $55 for premium members and $60 for normal members, inclusive of postage (unfortunately this alone accounts for around $13-15 in some cases). I would like to keep pricing similar to this, however, I have not yet got price information but I expect it could rise by $5 this year. Ideally we will need at least 10 orders to get better pricing on the hoodies and to also reduce the unit cost of the screen printing.

The design for last year is attached below, ideally I would like to change one of the sides this year. For anyone that can produce a design that the hoodie purchasers prefer, then you will get a hoodie for free if this goes ahead (or premium membership and some other merch if we cant get the numbers up). Note for you to get the free hoodie I will require your design in vector format (ideally Adobe Illustrator). One side of the hoodie will need to contain the AusLancer logo in the correct format, I can supply the vector artwork for this upon request. Also keep in mind screen printing has limited definition, so keep the designs to relatively larger lines and shapes with no gradients.

I've attached a poll to gauge interest. Please do not vote if you have no interest in purchasing a hoodie.

We will also likely do some T-shirts at the same time, pricing to be discussed at a later date.

Awww yesssss - a new design will keep me interested!

The company that made the hoodie last year, though the design wasnt our planned design, turned out well. Theyre pretty bloody warm, and have kept theyre print (as in, theyre worth the sixty bucks).

Yup it's my intention to use them again, as even though they did stuff up and switched the sides for the logos they were very reasonable to deal with over it. I will actually write FRONT and REAR on the mockup I give them this time! As you say the quality was very good too and I believe from what I have heard they haven't pilled up majorly like cheap *poo*ty hoodies can do.

I should add I will probably at the end of the month start asking for a $20 deposit to secure an order and then will sort out the balance once we have ordered and have a final price. I will aim to have orders in by mid-March.

Add a cc onto the design somebodyyyyy then I'll get one

Man I struggled to sell the stickers apart from you few hardcore AusMiragers!!

From memory the screens are around $22ea to get made. So it can be done, but will increase the price. The minimum order volumes are for them to be able to order the hoodies from their supplier, so we can do multiple printing designs, it just as I explained pushes up the price per hoodie.

If i wanted to get a Ausmirage or a Auslancer Long sleeve shirt, would that be possible? Id like to use it when going racing or whatever.

Most likely would need a minimum order of 10. Without pre-orders this is not something I would be prepared to front the cash for.

Will it have a zip this year?

No, as discussed already last year they cant screen print across the zip and it pushes the price too high.

not to detour the topic but do you have polos or something i could wear for drag strip purposes :)

Something similar

That's embroidery, let's just stick to the screen printed merch for the time being and get this one out of the road.
