- Razor Blade

Guide: (Start with your window wound all the way down)

1) Remove screws in door card
There are two on the outer top edges of the trim, one behind the flap on the door handle and one more inside the hand hole

2) Remove the hand hole pocket with a trim tool and same with the door handle surround
Be careful of the tabs on the door handle surround

3) Remove the door card. The fronts are held on real tight and snug - be sure to pull with two hands or a wide type trim remover to reduce point loading the door card. It is possible to crack the plastic with the use of a flathead screw driver on these cards.

4) Unplug the window switch and then remove the switch block. You will need this later. (3 Screws Drivers side, 2 screws passengers). Put the door card down somewhere soft - hard surfaces will scratch it.

5) Now peel back the door skin along the lower edge to reveal the opening in the door to access the one hidden glass retaining bolt. I use a razor blade to cut the sika like glue rather than stretch it.

6) Plug the window switch block back in and raise the window so that both bolts are now accessible.

7) Holding the glass with one hand (or using a mate to hold it for you) remove the last bolt. Now simply lift the glass out of the door, watching out for the bolt holes catching as they go past the end of the door frame.

Voila!

Install in reverse order.

Rear Glass:

What you need:

3) Take off the door card
It has several trim clips still holding it in place, start by peeling the door card back from one of the bottom corners and work your war around to the top. The sides and bottom will pull horizontally away from the door itself, so you can just pull towards yourself. When the top is the only bit left attached, pull upwards on the door card to remove.

4) Unplug the window switch from the loom
Also remove the switch from the door card - you'll need it later.
5) Peel back the top door seal just above the metal that separates the two windows and remove the screw above it. Beneath the same metal on the door, remove the 10mm bolt. Beware the 1/4 glass panel may now move

6) Hold the 1/4 glass firmly with your hand around the metal separator too. Pull from the top towards the front of the vehicle on a minor pivot. It should pull forward and rotate until the glass can now be pushed back to the rear of the car however this time, the glass and separator can be pulled out of the door rather than re-seated. See pictures. You may need to remove the glass and then re maneuver the metal to remove it from the door. No need to fully remove it, only have it hang out of the way of the glass

8) Plug back in the window switch and wind it up slightly so that the bolts line up with the holes. Using the 10mm drive remove one of the bolts.

And there you go, one door is now glass free!

Installation is the reverse of removal, careful not to drop the glass.
