Ch lancer Amp power wire install

Hey, so this is my first diy and im doing this as there is a thread with alot of questions about installing amps/subs into the ch lancers, and please note this is only for the POWER wire! so um... Here i go..

Now i started from the engine bay, what you want to do is try to find a grommet which you can feed your power wire through, i personally could only find one which was a beech to access

Since i didnt want to waste time trying to access the grommet you can also run the wire through the fenders, i have and alot of other people have. (Photos dont do it justice, easier to see in person! It is also alot easier if you do this with the door open :)

Then after some wiggling you should be able to grab it (stick your hand past the hinge) and once you have enough wire pulled through you can feed it through or pull out the grommet which the speaker/power window ect wires run through *DO NOT PUT THE WIRE IN FRONT OF THE HINGE! Keep it behind!*

Then once the wire is through the grommet it will come out here

Then remove the plastic panels (im assuming you know how to) and i could not get an exact photo of where the grommet comes in on the inside, but if you stick your hand there and wiggle the sub/amp wire you should easily be able to find it!

Once you have the wire through the grommet you can pull it through and follow it down the car like so...

And one thing i found was my wire fit perfectly into these little clips

then follow that all the way down, and feed it BEHIND the seat belt anchor! And you can easily pull the panel enough to slide the wire under it! Then as you get to the back, remove the bottom of the rear seats (lift up with a little force) then lift the panel as pictured

Once the wire is far enough/enough length to reach the boot/amp location you can clip all the panels back on!

Now.. The choice is yours, either unbolt the top half of the rear seats so you can litterally throw the wire into the boot OR you can slide the wires underneath the top half of the seat and into the boot. Now.. It can be tricky as the wire may seem like it is going into the boot but really it is going up the seat! However if you feed it through a little at first then wlk to the boot, you should be able to see the wire right at the back of the boot!

And riiiiiiight at the back of the boot, you should see the wire, if not then it has not gone into the boot but has gone up the seat!

Pull the wire up enough so it will reach you amp then connect it and mount yo sheet where ever you want :D

And im pretty sure that is everything :) if you would like to know anything else/correct anything i may have rooted, feel free to say/ask :)

Yeah sweet DIY bro. Cheers for doing it. I couldn't find a grommet in the firewall so went through the front quarter and through the door hinge grommet with a small hole in the bottom to poke the cable through. Worked great honestly no need to bother going through the fire wall this way is ideal.

One thing I almost got caught out by. When running cables from the head unit to the amp I started at the head unit and forgot to leave enough slack to pull the head unit out if needed later.

Also a few pics

sorry to revive an old post but currently trying to figure out how to run my amp wires, mine are all run pretty well but my issue is the battery terminal as i need to run a 4ga and an 8ga (one for a 4 channel one for a Monoblock) and i'm wondering about where is safe to attach the wires, i'm thinking of putting the 4ga on the top nut and the 8ga wire off the side wire that comes of the weird plastic thing. am i going to be alright running a wire off the nut on the top right of the positive terminal?. (they're both currently 8ga but i'm going to be changing that and fixing putting the cables where they should be but i don't know if i can or if it's safe to use the nut on the top right of the terminal.
