I like the ssr type c but they are similar style to buddyclub p1 which are i think more readily available in better sizing.

Look decent them ones
Just a bit worried about front brake clearance with the two I have said above

SSR: good and good size

Mars: crap. And knock offs. And probably heavy. +42 is crap

What brakes are you using?

Cheers for that @unclepaulie
Using fto twin pot front brakes
What’s bad about the +42 offset? Just wondering?

+42 sinks the wheel in towards the coil arm a lot. So much so that i think 7" wide with +42 would be touching the coilover, or the tyre will at the very least.

My 17”s wheels are +42 and they are 7” wheels. They sit close to the coilarm with about 2cm or so clearance
So the lower offset would be better? Like the +34?

That offset is perfectly fine to run. You wont have issues with the brakes as 16 inch will clear 276mm calipers. +34 offset shouls have the wheel sitting pretty flush with the guard or have a little bit of poke. However nothing some camber cant fix.

Ah scratch my comment then. I wasnt 100%, i havent played wheels in a few years now.

All good. Need a decent set of wheels that are 16”
So the SSR with the +34 offset would clear the brakes?. dont mind about the slight poke. fenders have been rolled.

I'd be surprised if the ssr's didn't clear. They're a very good quality brand.

They look like a similar spoke design to my advan SA3's. You'd need HUGE brakes for them to not clear.

Ah yes. I use the fto twin pots. Many people do run 16s with them. My old 15s didn’t clear so I got a set of 17s..
As I daily the car I find the 17s awful plus I don’t like the look of rubber band tyres.
I want to buy new wheels but issue is if they don’t fit.
As people said most 16s fit depending on the design. Thanks for the help :)

I've been looking for p1's on and off for a while now and can NEVER find a stockist. do you know of one?

Chasing buddyclub p1's, not enkei rpf1 Donki. There's a few enkei dealers around, but can't find buddyclub. A few fakes around on ebay though.
Never bought them new unfortunately so i cant help there. Noticed however mostly honda guys have them but double check offset. Seen 15x8 +32 in both 5 and 4 stud.

Thanks for the input guys. I’ll end up getting the SSR ones. Look good and they are the style I want
Cheers
