grinding

hi guys, I’ve got a 1999 ce lancer and am still pretty new to them. Recently I’ve heard a faint grinding only while my foots down on the accelerator and it comes and goes as I drive.. it sounds like it’s coming from the left hand side of the car possibly the from the gearbox.. Has anyone had...
