Phantom grip

I have researched there use, they kinda work for a short while until the pressure surfaces wear even and the polish themselve, then its the same as open dif.

The Americans love them because they are cheap and labour is cheap, so you can put a new diff in ever 4 weeks and it costs you nothing. But you will not find any decent car using one.
 
Yeah I got one made at a local machine shop to my drawings. It did work. Couldn't tell you how it compared to a proper diff though.
But I never had any issues or failures with it.
