MAP Install

To install a MAP sensor as a speed density option, Could this be achieved with a SAFC V1-REV2

The way that I am thinking of it is that my previous vehicle which we will not speak of as it blew up had a MAP sensor the SAFC intercepts the voltages to the ecu with two separate wires.

Could I do the same thing via having the SAFC intercept voltage of a MAP sensor wired into the 4G93 1.8L ECU (Steel Case ECU with an unsupported chipset.) and change the values accordingly as long as the SAFC is set to control MAP voltage? OR maybe even MAF to trick the ECU into thinking It has a MAF sensor still. This may seem like a rather strange question but my mind wanders.

No silly answers please.

The theory behind it makes sense, but of course things can work differently than expected. I don't know anyone to have tried changing a key measurement of engine control with another type via signal interception either. Keep in mind you'll have to make sure you know the pressures:volts given by the MAP, but that's usually easy to source.

The preferred option would be to change to a reflashable plastic case ECU, as that supports SD (amongst other things).

Edit: wait do you mean change to MAP and get the SAFC to give off a MAF-range signal, or something else?

That's basically what I want it to do. Is have it so the SAFC is giving off a MAP voltage to a MAF based ECU. But when It comes to it being flashable there are ECU's (plastic case) listed on ebay that are TRANSMISSION ecu's that doesn't lead to much more than it has a transmission haha. So that's why I'm looking for other options
