It appears that not many have explored this mod very much, if at all - I am onto my second CH and have a little experience with them, I fitted up a new throttlebody over the weekend and just cant get over the difference that it has made not just in power but in response and smoothness, I have added pics in members rides section for those that may be interested, I have given a basic how to and what you need to do to have this work for you without too much hassle. If you have questions please feel free to ask.

I have a ported manifold and head but have not installed those onto the car as it is a bit of a waste until the exhaust setup is done but yes if a ported manifold was done then this would add to the gains...

here you go check this out this is all the information you could ever want about building a car if you start at the first page you will get the builds I have done on CE there is stuff there on CH and on Evos yes I have had a few cars but this thread I have got covers alot of stuff

got it from the US look on the 4G club site.... http://club4g.org/board/ have a look in the for sales you need a 6G75 or V6 3.8lt these fit and work you might be able to find one on ebay in the US please do not get one from the Australian 6G75 as it does not work. also have a look on the EvoM web site there maybe someone there getting rid of one as well

Auto or manual won't matter. There is also a chance that a pajero 6g75 tb may fit but I need to check the wiring for compatibility.

What's the difference between the AU and US ones? Any chance the AU ones could be adapted to work?

After 5 months of driving around with the bigger throttle body I have an issue I think the sensor is faulty as the revs are dropping to the point of stalling so I swapped back to the factory TB.
Talk about a difference in power... so I am wondering if swapping out the sensor from one factory unit to another if this has been done succesfully or if this is a no go area.

TIA

Is the sensor not replaceable? Or does this imply an entirely new throttle body? Thanks for the advice btw, back in it and thinking of doin some stuffffff (again) to the yellow peril.
