Engine Stalls in my Mirage

Was wondering if someone could help me. I have a 97 mirage and just lately the engine has been stalling. It only happens when my foot is barely on the accelerator, like when doing 60 in 4th. The engine cuts out, then starts up again a few seconds later (feels like push starting) It never does it under load, has never stalled when doing above 80, and I've only noticed it cut out at idle when its cold. I've checked the plugs, leads, cap and they're all good.
Ok, here are the kms on the relevant bits.
It reads a bit over 370,000kms on the clock, but I replaced the engine at the beginning of the year, so it has only done around 90,000kms. The relays under the bonnet, the MAP sensor and everything to do with the engine(except the radiator, power steering pump and air con) is the low km engine. The manual gearbox was changed early last year (thanks to a mechanic filling the old one with the wrong api oil) and that has done about 170,000kms. Other than this it drives fine. If it stalls at idle it starts right back up again and purrs like a kitten.
Thanks in advance :)

Clean your throttle body and idle speed controller. Does the idle speed rise when the ac is switched on.

I cleaned the entire throttle body when I changed the engine 20,000kms ago. It had 70,000kms on it when I bought it and was pretty clean then.
Yes, my idle speed rises when I switch on the ac, always has, but so did my last engine. I thought that was just the computer adjusting things because the alternator has more work to deal with. Is that something else?

It's good if the idle speed changes it shows that the ECU is controlling the idle speed and the isc is operating. Check the adjustment of the tps.

Thanks for your help, the problem has stopped. I went over all the connectors to check if any were loose. It got worse whenever I hit a bump so it seemed the logical thing to do. They seemed fine, but I noticed there are a few wires in the distributer area that were easily moved. I'm going to get someone to check it, but since I moved them the engine no longer cuts out at all. Either that, or one of the connectors around the fuel injection were loose, and I tightened them without realizing. Sometimes the smallest movement can make a big difference. Thanks again :)

yeah loose dizzy wires will 100% cause issues, hopefully thats all it was.
