Cheap Car Challenge

Just back from our first Marulan Cheap Car Challenge 4 hour endurance race. We qualified 13th out of 23 cars and finished 10th, we could of finished 5th but a couple of time penalties added 3 laps too our total. We think we have worked out the pit stop timing now so we should do better next time. Very wet day but a lot of fun.
Very proud of our boys for doing so well for the first time out and bringing the car home without a scratch under some very trying conditions.

Cool, good job man, looks like a fun event, i see its restricted to include all stock 2lt cars and under, i read the entry pdf and entry conditions seem to be fair to all participants, do you have to supply a believable purchase receipt for the $1000 and under entry?

Lancer 1st and 3rd Mirage 5th, the rest doesn't matter .
As long as the cars market value is close to $1000 it should be fine. Ive seen a couple of FTO's running in the past but I don't know were you can get a good FTO for under $1000.
That's the only pic I took all day, I even took my gopro down but didn't put it in the car .

The MDTC cheap car challange is great fun, we have a Lancer CE Sedan entered in the last couple events too (CAR 333), you might be in some of our GoPro footage mate ☺
