hey, i was wondering if all you need is the paddles to have paddle shifters for a 2010 lancer aspire

hey mate,

I cant confirm since i've never done it before but I found a different forum which has a youtube link and discussion which might be helpful to you. I think as long as you have auto / tiptronic you should be fine but check it out I guess.

I remember there was a craze of putting them in legnums for a while so I'm sure across some way it is possible. Just know that it'll never be as responsive as a car intended to come out with them. Still be a heap of fun

For what it's worth the ES used to have the harness already there for the steering wheel audio controls despite not coming with the controls from factory, so there is a good chance the plug is already there for the steering wheel controls.

That said, I wouldn't waste your time. The CVT will work best left in CVT mode...

Nah, as long as you're servicing well and not thrashing it every second it's on, should be fine
