Since 2010 what would seem the start of the CJ heading there has been 7 columns of posts. Under the DIY sub heading there is only, not quite one solitary column.

Pathetic isn't it!

So how about some support for your column for your CJ. Yes I agree there is better coverage with a larger readership elseware, like our General column and ClubCJ, so If you promote those by preference, it would be appreciated if you would add a similar entry in your own CJ column or even a reference to those entrees.
Yes I have been guilty of doing this myself but am holding off from transferring any more, because it is getting to be embarrassing to see the number of entries I have already posted there.

Creat items easier to find by you and other CJ owners and interested parties

One possible answer to the above is due to a well built and reliable model that hasn't been around long enough
( only 4 years of cars out of warranty)for sufficient people requiring assistance and no dought the existence of ClubCJ. ClubCJ might be excusive but I recon we are better easier to follow and more friendly.

fact of the matter is it probably deserves its own forum.
I would like to see more traffic come across and a lot of members are on both forums but don't check this one because there is nothing that interests them here.
A lot of CJ/ CX or whatever the new lancers are called, the drivers don't really appreciate being flooded by old nuggety ce's and cc's. i guess they prefer a newer platform. But there can also be quite an age difference now in those driving the CJs as at they're cheapest they're like $6-10 know which is perfect for young drivers (I didn't spend that much but it's quite common) they're also a much much safer car too - where as when I bought my car in 2011 it was in the similar bracket and same era a lot of people my age were getting. Being younger they don't participate as much either, They want to spend $10 and look $1000. Thus the higher number of CJs with plasti dip and nightshade everywhere with hectic stickers and a muffler. (There's nothing wrong with that if that's how you want to go it's just doing little things to make it your own.)
Auslancer has shifted sort of as most of us who bought our first little CEs are older and much more experienced with a wrench and information are chasing mods to put our cars on the track and turbo and other performance areas. The DIYs are aplenty for all the aesthetic things everyone used to care about so much and are accessible -
So I see what you're trying to achieve here, but posting this thread in two different areas complaining for CJ owners to get off their ass isn't very inviting. Inviting is what you've already been doing and doing mods and DIYs. Even if they aren't aimed at the younger crowd (I don't know of any 18-22year old who wants to make their car quieter)

Thanks Hugh-CE, Your points are well placed as are those by another elseware to which I am unable to reply to due to my lowly club status.
However I apologies to anyone who might consider I am complaining in any way, shape or form, because that was never intended and would if intended, be completely and absolutely
out of character for me and this friendly club. My intent was only to encourage and I hope that comes through. Sure ClubCJ covers the CJ more explicitly but that doesn't mean that we can't compete with them
drag over some of their members or duel members to assist and post their help and ideas in our club as well and yes I am a member of that club too.
My preference however runs with this club, its general pleasant being, better easier and more direct friendly approach. With even admonishments being delivered with a gentle constructive touch.

Old saying. (1) Be lavish with your praise and constructive with your criticism. (2) Agree to disagree!

Yep. So keep putting out your hints and tips. Write CJ / CX / CZ lancer in your topics when you do and when they Google you might just pop up first

I can see both points to all of the above, but the best way as suggested would be to take the lead and hope other follow or start asking questions and let it build from there.
